Planning application submitted for Stanton
An outline planning application for the redevelopment of the former Stanton Ironworks site has been received by Erewash Borough Council.
The proposed scheme has been submitted by Saint Gobain PAM UK and is for a major mixed-use development, including 1,950 residential units, shops, restaurants, community facilities, health centre, a 150-bed centre for the elderly, allotments, a primary school and sports areas – as well as office, warehouse and industrial units and new roads within the site.
