Getting HR Right from Day One

Perfect for the time poor manager, this highly interactive micro-session will equip busy line managers with the HR basics, to navigate the legal pitfalls when taking on your first or thirty-first employee.

During the taster session we will cover:
  • which contract to use and understanding employment status 
  • getting the basics right, which policies and why
Fiendishly difficult to get wrong we will get to grips with why the employment status of individuals you engage matters, and the contract options available to you as a business.
 
We will also touch on the must-have HR policies you need in your business, and the ones that will protect you when things go pear-shaped.
 
The session will be run by Sarah Loates from LoatesTraining who have steadily been building a reputation in the East Midlands for fun and engaging sessions.
 
This micro-session is limited to 15 delegates, and based on previous demand we anticipate places will fill up quickly
