Enterprise Advisers
The Enterprise Adviser Network (EAN) is designed to build stronger links between schools and employers in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire in order to help young people better realise their career potential.
It does this by introducing local employers (known as Enterprise Advisers or EAs) into schools to help shape the careers advice students are given.
That advice can be based on both the experience of the Enterprise Adviser and Labour Market Intelligence which indicates a substantial skills gap in our region between the skills employers need and those school leavers possess.
Give an Hour
The Give an Hour campaign invites you to make a difference to the young people in your area by giving an hour of your time. We’d particularly like to hear from you if you own or work in an SME.
In an hour you could change the course of a young person’s life just by sharing your story or helping them understand more about the world of work.
It might feel like an hour is too short to have a real impact, but we know from experience than an hour can create new perspectives and inspire new ideas.
