YES Derbyshire (Youth Employment Support), is a joint initiative between us and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has been officially launched to provide a gateway for young people in Derbyshire to access a range of support services to help move into employment or training.
This is a one-stop-shop for young people aged from 16 to 24, offering access to training and careers advice and guidance.
Working in partnership, we have developed an inviting and engaging space for the Youth Hub, enabling young people to access support both locally and in an environment that is in the heart of the community. The aim is to provide an alternative space away from the Job Centre.
We offer one-to-one appointments with our qualified advisers who can support you to explore your options and access employment and training opportunities as well as explore support needs around health and wellbeing.
We will offer information, advice and guidance on a variety of areas to suit your individual needs. Including your options around:
We offer appointments Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 5pm. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.
Drop ins are welcome, Monday 2pm to 4pm or Wednesday 10am to midday.
