We are looking to expand our team through the addition of two Employability and Career Workers. They will work as part of a team alongside experienced colleagues to offer support and guidance for young people (Key Stage 2-5) to develop their employability skills and define their career opportunities. The successful candidates will have exemplary communication skills and team working ability, as you partner closely with other staff in your schools and work in collaboration with employers. You will be committed to supporting young people to secure sustainable and equitable pathways into employment and recognise the success made by others.

These positions have a starting salary of £21,000 per year plus travel expenses and are initially advertised as 12 month contracts commencing November/December 2021 but with the potential to be extended, subject to funding. The office base will be Chesterfield or Derby with travel around local areas. As each role will involve travel, candidates must have their own transport and travel expenses will be paid.
Successful candidates will be funded to complete a Level 6 qualification in Career Guidance and Development as part of their role.
